Terms of Service

1. Who we are

CareerFit ("CareerFit", "we", "us") is a career-readiness platform that helps job seekers in Ghana understand how well their CV matches a role, close the gaps, and apply with a stronger application. These Terms govern your use of the CareerFit website and dashboard (the "Service").

2. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account, uploading a document, or making a payment on CareerFit, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Data Safety notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

4. What CareerFit does

You upload a CV and, optionally, a target job description. Our systems — including third-party AI providers used to analyse and improve your text — generate a match score, a gap report, resume suggestions, and where available, matched job listings sourced from third-party job APIs. Match scores and AI-generated suggestions are guidance, not a guarantee of interview or hiring outcomes.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload documents you don't have the right to use, misrepresent your identity or qualifications, attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service, or use CareerFit to harass, defraud, or impersonate any person or employer.

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the CV and content you upload. We retain ownership of the CareerFit platform, branding, and underlying software. You grant us a limited licence to process your uploaded content solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Third-party services

CareerFit uses third-party AI providers and job-listing APIs to power parts of the Service. We are not responsible for the accuracy of job listings sourced from external providers, and availability of any third-party integration may change without notice.

9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." CareerFit does not guarantee job offers, interviews, or employment outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerFit's liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
