1. Encryption
Traffic between your device and CareerFit is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing — we cannot see your password, and neither can our staff.
2. Access control
Your uploaded CVs and generated reports are only accessible from your authenticated account. Internal access is limited to the engineers who need it to operate, debug, or support the Service, and is not used for any purpose unrelated to running CareerFit.
3. Payment safety
Mobile money payments are verified through OTP confirmation. We store the transaction reference needed to confirm and reconcile payment — we never see or store your mobile money PIN.
4. AI processing
When your CV is analysed, the relevant text is sent securely to our AI processing providers to generate your match score and suggestions, then the result is returned and stored in your account. This content is not used by CareerFit to build public profiles or shared with advertisers.
5. Data minimisation
We only request the information needed to provide the Service — your CV, an optional target job description, and the account details required to manage credits and payment. We don't ask for data we don't need.
6. Your control over your data
- You can review and update your profile information from your dashboard.
- You can request a copy of your data or full account deletion at any time.
- Deleted documents and account data are removed from active storage within a reasonable period.
7. Reporting a concern
If you believe your data has been accessed without authorisation, or you spot a security issue, please report it immediately via WhatsApp so we can investigate.
